CHELSEA TRIO OUT OF HULL CITY CLASH

Chelsea will be without Tiemoue Bakayoko, David Luiz and Ross Barkley for the FA Cup 5th round clash vs Hull City, according to Antonio Conte. The trio has been ruled out injured by the manager but he has not mentioned how long they will be out.

Adding to that, Conte also said that he has a couple of ‘situations’ that need to be taken care of.

“Bakayoko is out, Luiz is out and Barkley is out. Then I have a couple of situations that I have to check”

While it’s not clear what the other situations are, rumours suggest that it could be the fitness of Christensen and Morata.

Gary Cahill is expected to lead the team on Friday night with Cesar Azpilicueta getting a much-needed rest. Rudiger and Ampadu are tipped to start the game.

Chelsea face Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday might before they head to Manchester to face United and City in a span of 7 days.

Scholes and Ferdinand slam Jose Mourinho

The Manchester United legends were were furious with the manager after the FA Cup final!

SCHOLES AND FERDINAND SLAM MOURINHO

Paul Scholes and Rio Ferdinand were furious with Jose Mourinho after the FA Cup final defeat to Chelsea. The Manchester United legends were unhappy with the substitutions made by the manager.

“Jesse [Lingard] was getting in spaces, between the midfield and back four. Rashford then had a great chance, made a great run and all of a sudden they were taken off.” said Scholes.

The former England midfielder continued, “Sometimes those two local lads are the easy target, how Sanchez stayed on the pitch with them two creating problems as they were I have no idea.”

“Sanchez, how many times he gave the ball away was scary really, and he’s a top-class player, he’s not really done it for United yet.” added Scholes.

Rio Ferdinand echoed the same thoughts and said, “We (him and Scholes) looked at each other and thought “wow”, that’s a big call there because Sanchez wasn’t playing well or influencing the game.”

“Listen the manager is paid to make big decision, today in terms of substitutes, I don’t think he made the correct ones.” said the former Manchester United defender.

BAYERN MUNICH EYE LEON BAILEY

Bayern Munich have set sights on signing Leon Bailey as per ESPN Sources. The report claims that the Bundesliga champions are willing to shell out €60 million to get the Jamaican winger.

Bayer Leverkusen, however, value him way higher than that and are not willing to sell him for that amount. The report says that Bailey is valued around €100 million by the German club.

ESPN also say that there is interest from Real Madrid and that is why Leverkusen are delaying the deal. Chelsea were linked with him in the January transfer window.

The Blues were keen on signing him and then loaning him out for rest of the season but the move was rebuffed by Leverkusen. Chelsea saw him as a long-term replacement for Willian.

Bailey was signed for €13.5m buy from Belgium side KRC Genk in January 2017. He has been in stunning form in the Bundesliga ever since and that’s caught the eye of the European giants.

WEST HAM TO APPOINT PELLEGRINI

West Ham United have agreed a deal to appoint Manuel Pellegrini as their next manager as per Di Marzio. The Sky Sports journalist claims that the former Manchester City manager has signed a 3 year deal with the Hammers.

Pellegrini is currently with Hebei China Fortune. The Chinese Super League side are struggling despite having the likes of  Ezequiel Lavezzi, Gervinho, Javier Mascherano and Hernanes.

They are 9th in the 16-team league table with 3 wins, 3 draws and 4 losses in their 10 games this season. With Pellegrini leaving mid-season, it looks like Hebei were also looking to replace him and it is a mutual termination of the contract.

West Ham United parted ways with David Moyes last week. He guided them to Premier League safety this season after a terrible start under Slaven Bilic.

“When David and his team arrived, it was the wish of both parties that the focus be only on the six months until the end of the season, at which point a decision would be made with regards to the future,” said West Ham joint-chairman David Sullivan on the club’s official website.
