Benfica stars in demand these days, just like the Ajax and FC Porto starlets. Reports in The Telegraph claim that Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in Jota Felipe.
A Bola add to the report that Spurs sent scouts to Benfica’s Europa League match against Dinamo Zagreb to check on the teenager.
The 19-year-old is set to start a bidding war between the two North London Rivals as per the report. Jota has been on fine form this season and has a £25.6 million release clause on his contract.
However, AS report that Benfica are aware of the interest in the teenager and have begun contract talks. They are looking to increase the release clause to a whopping €120M as per the report in the Spanish publication.
AS also report that Real Madrid are also keen on signing him and even made a move for him. Los Blancos had a €18M bid turned down earlier this year by Benfica who were adamant on not letting him go for cheap.
