Chelsea star open to joining Juventus this summer

MORATA EYES JUVENTUS SWITCH

Alvaro Morata is open to a move to Juventus this summer according to Rai Sport (via CalcioMercato). The Spaniard is said to be on the Serie A side’s transfer list if Mario Mandzukic decides to leave.

Morata played for the Italian side on loan from Real Madrid. His impressive run at the club earned him a call-back from Los Blancos but he never got a chance to shine at Bernabeu.

Chelsea signed him up for £60 million last summer and will demand a bigger amount if they have to let go of him. The striker is willing to make the switch as he finds it more comfortable playing in Italy.

Morata has contributed 14 goals and six assists in all competitions this season but is still finding his feet. He’s yet to replicate the form he had at the start of the season and is finding it difficult to handle the opponent defenders.

Chelsea are said to be keeping tabs on Andrea Belotti, Ciro Immobile and Mauro Icardi – all three who are in fine form in the Serie A.
