MANCHESTER UNITED EYE KOVACIC

Manchester United have set sights on signing Mateo Kovačić as per reports in The Sun. The Real Madrid midfielder is reportedly not happy with the game time he’s getting at Bernabeu and is looking to leave.

Kovacic made 36 appearances for Los Blancos last season but only 10 of them were starts. He was not even in the matchday squad for Champions League final.

When asked if he has plans of moving away from Real Madrid this summer, Kovacic told reporters on Friday: “I believe I’ll play more, whether in Real [Madrid] or somewhere else, now is the time for me to play.”

“Offers? I am under contract with Real and I wish not to comment on other clubs.” added the Croatian.

Manchester United are reportedly looking to sign midfielders this summer as Fellaini is leaving and Herrera and Mata are in the final year of their contract.

Matic and Pogba alone are not able to handle the midfield and Jose Mourinho is keen on getting a young & talented star.
