Real Madrid are planning a squad overhaul this summer and they have set sights on a lot of potential targets. Reports in the Daily Express now suggest that Los Blancos have Christian Eriksen on the list as well.
The Danish midfielder’s contract at White Hart Lane expires in the summer of 2020 and Spurs are looking to cash in on him. The former Ajax star is seen as an ideal long term replacement for Luka Modric and Zidane reportedly has asked Perez to get the deal done.
The report in Express also suggests that Eriksen is keen on joining Real Madrid as he has always dreamed of playing for the Spanish giants. Danial Levy is reportedly in keen on selling him but will only accept a world-record fee for a midfielder.
Another report suggests that Spurs will demand a world-record bid, ie, more than €222M that PSG paid for Neymar. However, given that Eriksen has only one year left on his contract, it would be too much for them to ask.

While Eriksen to Real Madrid is a story that has been carried out by several publications, Express’ add notes about the fee and his dream to play for Los Blancos are just too much. They are more like something Don Balon or Diario GOL would report.
