Wayne Rooney scored a crazy goal last week for DC United to help them win 2-1 against Orlando City. But today, he could not do much and his side were thrashed 4-0 by new comers, Los Angeles FC.

This is Rooney’s seventh red card in his career for club and country. The sending off was his first since September 2014, when he was given the marching orders in a 2-1 win over West Ham United.
Diego Rossi, meanwhile, stayed on the pitch and completed his hat-trick in the 76th minute. The hat-trick and a goal by Carlos Vela helped the new MLS side run out 4-0 winners.
